Can I bring my pet and/or emotional support animal?
Service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities are welcome. Emotional support animals are NOT permitted. NO Pets Allowed (i.e. dogs, cats, monkeys, snakes, lizards, etc.)
Will wheelchairs and/or scooters be available onsite?
Mobility assistance equipment (including wheelchairs and scooters) will NOT be available onsite. Guests needing mobility support are kindly asked to bring their own devices.
Is alcohol/beer permitted on the fairgrounds or will alcohol be sold at the fair?
NO outside alcohol/beer is permitted on the fairgrounds or inside the fair. Please note that alcohol/beer will NOT be sold onsite. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, family-friendly environment.
Are weapons allowed on the fairgrounds?
No. Unlawful weapons are strictly prohibited on the premises. We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests.
Are registered sex offenders or sexual predators allowed on the fairgrounds?
No. For the safety of our guests and community, registered sex offenders and sexual predators are strictly prohibited from entering or remaining on the premises.
What time do the gates open and close?
Gates open on Saturdays and Sundays at 10am and Monday through Friday at 5pm. Midway opens on Saturdays and Sundays at 12pm and closes Saturday at 11pm and Sunday at 10pm. Midway opens Monday through Friday at 5pm and closes Monday through Thursday at 10pm and Friday at 11pm.
Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets may be purchased at www.sumterfair.net or at the ticket office located at the entrance to the fairgrounds in Building Expo 5.
Do I have to pay to park?
No. Free parking is available onsite for the Sumter County Fair.
